Welcome to the website of Professor Pok's SOC240.002 and SOC240.051 classes for the Spring 2011 term.  I am using this website because I've learned that my students generally prefer this website over the format of Bb.  In fact, we'll be using several Google services throughout the term.  This website is the primary site.  It contains links to your private class sites, calendars for both classes, and assignments, readings, etc.  This primary site is public which means that anyone may view it.  However, I am the only one who may make changes to this site.   To protect your privacy, each class also has a private website which requires you to login in order to access it.   Students will also be registered on a discussion listserv to facilitate communication; again, to protect students' privacy, the discussion listserv is also private.  Below are the links to remember.
